Josh, This is a really strong piece. Any chance you can get it picked up in the Post or some other paper of record? Too good to lose and is too likely to be underexposed.
Follow the money. A politician is running for reelection as soon as elected. Pharma is generous to their allies. Help elect a representative who represents YOU.
Josh, This is so important. Seeing the disrespect toward these workers who were fired for refusing the Covid shots, should make people feel livid. What recourse do they have other than to speak up? What is more disrespectful than to refuse to listen? I hope there is a way to give your letter "legs." Councilman Restler, who has dismissed these mistreated workers with the tired trope "we did the best we could with the information we had at the time," needs public scrutiny before he'll pay attention.
Thank you. You're right - the refusal to even listen speaks volumes. The 'we did our best with available information' defense falls apart when you won't face those harmed by your decisions. True leadership isn't about being right all the time - it's about having the courage to acknowledge mistakes and work to fix them. The longer they delay reinstatement, the more they reveal this was never about public health. I hope everyone shares these workers' stories. They need our voices - especially since mainstream media continues to ignore their plight.

What a great piece! I agree to try and get it published. Restler, who is the councilman in a neighboring district is a waste. I know him and have implored him to sign on to a bill protecting our retiree healthcare. No answer from him, not even a verbal support. He avoids me at public community events when he never did before.
What a wonderful letter… profound & true. I saw it due to Micheal Kane’s SS where he cross posted. Everyone needs to investigate who is getting campaign contributions from Big Pharma. Agree that this should be an op-ed in the NY Post.
